Memorial Service for Officer Daniel Ellis

Det. Daniel Neil Ellis, 33, husband of Katie Elizabeth Gruenwald Ellis of Richmond, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Daniel was born April 22, 1982 to Kelly and Nancy West Ellis. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University and was with Law Enforcement for the Richmond Police Department. He was a member of the Madison County F.O.P. Lodge #47, a member of the Kentucky Narcotics Association, the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and a member of the East End Church of Christ in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
